    My mom was diagnosed with Dementia several years ago, which has recently become severe Alzheimer's. We found that place in Cedar Healthcare in Portsmouth, NH. They went above and beyond educating us on what to expect. Mom feels cared for and we have access to her 24/7. If we have questions we can call, email, or stop by and always get a prompt response. She is not just "placed" she is actually "living" at Cedar. We are so grateful to them and so comfortable with how we are all treated.

This was because or the care she received from all of her caregivers during her stay. The rehab was an significant part of her recovery.     My aunt lives here and before moving in to the nursing home wing was very shy, didn’t really participate in many activities, and just stayed in her room. She had to move into a nursing facility. She was scared but knew she had to because she falls a lot. She is so happy living here! She does so many activities that they put on from going to Walmart, to painting classes, bingo, etc! She really loves the cookouts and themed days! The staff is super helpful and puts up with all my questions and pestering;). From nurses, LNAs, administrators, cleaning, etc all are five star here! I am so glad she is happy here.
